Anya
Anya comes from Iron Range Newfoundlands located in Ishpeming, Michigan. It was August of 2005 when I began my search for a newfie breeder. I am so glad I found Iron Range!
It was early November 2005 when I got the call from Lark that my baby was conceived. Now it was a matter of waiting. The puppies were born on January 8, 2006. Early February of 2006 Lark called me again to tell me that I would be able to take home the female. Thank goodness! I knew I wanted to name my puppy Anya; but, if I got a male dog, I had no clue what his name would be!
Then I had the privilege of visiting the puppies when they were about 4 weeks old! They were all so cute. And, 4 weeks later, I drove up there again to bring home my girl.
Since then, I have become involved in newf clubs, events and Internet forums.
